Another time-lapse video

Yeah, the other time-lapse video I did was better. But this time you get to see me haphazardly wielding a scalpel at top speed.

Mugs and romance and cake

I've finally added the My Cardboard Life mugs to the My Cardboard Life shop, which is actually a new shop when you think about it. The Doctor Bandaid mini-comics are in there too, as well as the My Cardboard Life mini-comics. Go and have a look if you like.

You see that cake in the picture? It's supposed to be a real life version of the cake in my tea party diorama. I wanted to replicate all the food from the tea party, but thought better of it in the end.

Doctor Bandaid is kind of disgusting really. Sometimes he hangs around my local swimming pool. No one's ever happy to see him there. He's a serial lady ogler you see.


Anyway, as gross as he is, I quite like Doctor Bandaid and that's why I made this mini-comic all about him. Mostly it's done in the usual My Cardboard Life collage way, but I've also put some OTHER styles in there. There's some watercolour illustrations, a gouache painting and also a poem.

Time-lapse drawing

Here I am drawing a cityscape. And below you can see the finished drawing. I think I might make a time-lapse video every time I do drawing/illustration from now on. I faff around a lot less when there's a camera watching me and taking my photo every second that passes.

The music on that video is called 'Coconut Groove' and it's from the YouTube music library. I just saw the word coconut and I was like, oooh coconut. Also it made me think of coconut mall, one of the best tracks in Mario Kart Wii. Anyway, this morning after I had selected 'Coconut Groove' for the video I couldn't stop thinking about coconut, so I went to the cake shop and got one of those danish pastries with coconut on top. I'm gonna be brutally honest now. It was a bit dry.
